Donal is an experienced Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator and has to date successfully concluded mediations in numerous legal costs matters. He also has ADR expertise outside of legal costs, particularly in patents, contracts and commercial property.
He trained to be a mediator at the London School of Mediation in 2012. He is a panel mediator at the Clerksroom Chambers and at Costs Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) with other notable mediators including former Senior Courts Costs Judges and members of the Costs Bar.
He can travel nationally and internationally for mediation appointments. He is skilled in telephone mediations and roundtable meetings. He is qualified to provide Evaluative Mediation where he can assist parties by offering an expert opinion in costs disputes.
